چکیده
With the development of offshore fossil energy industry, designing life many oil and gas facilities will end. The decommissioning these has become an urgent task due to unpredictable costs, high risks, environmental protection issues public concern. Decision-making, as core in pre-decommissioning stage, plays a decisive role cost, risk, impact entire decommissioning. Therefore, multi-attribute decision-making model attracted much attention from industry academia. An efficient, accurate, simply using can enable governments, companies, other marine users, organizations reasonably fulfill their concerns. It is great significance all parties. This review mainly studies models that have been used facilities, conducts more detailed interpretation them, including relevant regulations, frameworks, methodology, preferences advantages disadvantages different models. In addition, comprehensive cost assessment model, important part carried out, general framework methodology accuracy explored. And then current evaluation method raises author's personal doubts. At end article, this paper names two problems is, lack basic data incomplete MCDA (Multi-criteria Decision Analysis) method. provide reference feasible research directions for future scholars who aims study especially North Sea UK point out direction improve its

A multi-attribute decision analysis for decommissioning offshore oil and gas platforms.
The 27 oil and gas platforms off the coast of southern California are reaching the end of their economic lives. Because their decommissioning involves large costs and potential environmental impacts, this became an issue of public controversy. As part of a larger policy analysis conducted for the State of California, we implemented a decision analysis as a software tool (PLATFORM) to clarify an...
متن کاملDecommissioning of offshore oil and gas facilities: a comparative assessment of different scenarios.
A material and energy flow analysis, with corresponding financial flows, was carried out for different decommissioning scenarios for the different elements of an offshore oil and gas structure. A comparative assessment was made of the non-financial (especially environmental) outcomes of the different scenarios, with the reference scenario being to leave all structures in situ, while other scena...
متن کاملEvaluating alternatives for decommissioning California's offshore oil and gas platforms.
This paper introduces a series of 6 additional papers in this issue that describe an in-depth analysis of options for decommissioning oil and gas platforms offshore southern California. Although current leases require lessees in both state and federal waters to completely remove all production facilities and restore the seafloor to its pre-platform condition, other options have emerged since th...
متن کاملA semi-automated approach to generate 4D/5D BIM models for evaluating different offshore oil and gas platform decommissioning options
Background: Offshore oil and gas platforms generally have a lifetime of 30 to 40 years, and platform decommissioning is a major issue because many of the existing offshore oil and gas platforms are reaching the end of their service life. There are many possible options for decommissioning offshore oil and gas platforms, and each decommissioning option can be implemented using different methods ...
متن کاملEcological and political issues surrounding decommissioning of offshore oil facilities in the Southern California Bight
To aid legislators, resource managers, and the general public, this paper summarizes and clarifies some of the issues and options that the federal government and the state of California face in decommissioning offshore oil and gas production platforms, particularly as these relate to platform ecology. Both local marine ecology and political climate play a role in decommissioning offshore oil pr...
